Shared Care

Centre for Sight’s definition of Shared care – Understanding our patient’s specific needs and expectations. We wish to develop relationships with network care professionals, so together we can surpass all patients’ expectations!

The remarkable growth of Centre for Sight has been greatly supported by the advocacy of Optometrists, GPs, past patients, and their families.

We’ve established a nationwide network of Optometrists, Opticians, and GPs known as ‘shared care.’ This collaborative network ensures that we work together to provide the highest standard of care for your patients needing LASIK, laser vision correction, refractive lens exchange, and laser cataract surgery.

From referral to aftercare, our Patient Concierges are dedicated to overseeing your patients’ journey with us. They’ll keep you fully informed through our unique professional portal—an online, GDPR-compliant system that allows us to share confidential data, images, and scans quickly and securely.

As part of our commitment to ‘shared care,’ we host educational days annually for professionals, along with additional events on an ad hoc basis.

The Centre for Sight Referral Network as a first step aims to support, assist and educate referring eye care providers with vision correction alternatives for their patients. This includes laser eye surgery, phakic implants (e.g. implantable contact lenses), VICTUS laser lens procedure with accommodative and multifocal lenses and VICTUS laser cataract surgery.

The Referral Network provides a unique framework in which referring eye care providers are able to offer their patients direct access to laser refractive surgery/cataract surgery and alternatives, whilst remaining the primary care provider for their patients following refractive surgery.

The Referral Network is committed to professional development and practice building initiatives. In due course, accredited members will have full access to a wide range of member benefits such as telemedicine assistance, dedicated webpage, direct bookings link, training manuals, continuing education seminars, clinical newsletters and a wealth of knowledge from highly experienced clinical team members.

Centre for Sight wishes to develop relationships with network eye care professionals who have similar values in particular being a high end provider and delivering outstanding care.
