On Magnanimity, Leadership, and the Bigger Picture

Sheraz Daya - Centre for Sight

The word magnanimity originates from the Latin, magna, meaning big, and animus, meaning soul or spirit.

Mr Sheraz Daya our medical director and also Chief Medical Editor of Cataract and Refractive Surgery Today – Europe recently wrote an editorial on his perspective on magnanimity and its role in leadership. Reading through the content of the issue, he was impressed by common threads reflective of the authors leadership, nobility and magnanimity and felt that this deserved special attention.

The world could perhaps be an even better place if more leaders followed these principles!
